Here too soft wood is present on the even spicier aromas of mostly red berries, violet, lavender, orange peel and a pretty wisp of jasmine tea. There is both excellent punch and delineation to the powerful and tautly muscular middleweight flavors that terminate in a very firm, long and impeccably well-balanced finish where a touch of austerity eventually emerges.
