Allen Meadows' Burghound - 2021 Meursault Premier Cru Santenots, Marquis d'Angerville
This is also aromatically very fresh with its combination of petrol, citrus, spice and essence of pear. There is better volume and mid-palate density to the seductively textured but decidedly punchy medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a nicely dry and youthfully austere finale. This should age effortlessly and note that my suggested initial drinking window is for 750 ml. I would add another 5 to 7 years for this wine in magnum format. - Allen Meadows, June 23
