Christmann's 2021 Ölberg-Hart Königsbach Riesling Grosse Lage shows a deep, intense, concentrated, beautifully elegant and aromatic nose of ripe Riesling berries intertwined with saline and crunchy, stony notes. Dense, saline and pure on the palate, this is an elegant, vibrantly fresh and firmly structured dry Riesling classic that is still a bit austere yet full of tension and terroir expression. Definitely a wine to cellar for another 5 to 10 years. 12.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August and at the domaine in November 2022. - Stephan Reinhardt, Dez. 2022
