In recent years, this cuvée has tended to be one of the more extreme wines in the cellar, but the 2021 Corton Grand Cru Les Grand Lolières marks a return to more classical proportions, even if it was cropped at a mere 15 hectoliters per hectare. Offering up aromas of red berries, sweet soil tones, petals and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and racy, with good depth at the core and a taut, youthfully structured profile. Airy and very fresh aromas are comprised by notes of plum, spice, earth, red and dark pinot fruit and discreet wood.
