Allen Meadows' Burghound - 2019 Meursault Blagny Premier Cru, Thierry et Pascale Matrot
Here the ripe aromas are completely dominated by sulfur which understandably blurs the nuance. More interesting are the super-sleek and beautifully well-detailed flavors that exhibit fine punch on the citrusy and agreeably dry but somewhat one-dimensional finish. This is awkward today though there does not appear to be any particular reason that it shouldn't properly clean up. - Allen Meadows, June 2021
