Full-bodied, layered and perfumed, its satiny attack segues into a deep, concentrated mid-palate and a long, perfumed finish. Allen Meadows' Burghound - 2019 Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Aux Brûlées, Méo-Camuzet
Subtle but discernible wood can be found on the pretty and perfumed aromas of sandalwood, exotic tea, essence of black currant, plum and a similar hint of star anise. There is excellent mid-palate density thanks to the abundant dry extract that buffers the firmer tannins shaping the mineral-driven, robust and powerful finish.
