The 2022er Maximin Grünhäuser Herrenberg Riesling Kabinett was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar. It is still quite reserved and non-saying at first, yet develops a complex and herbal nose of green pepper, minty herbs, thyme, vineyard peach, and almond. The wine coats the palate with juicy and ripe flavors of peach and pear. The finish has more freshness as spicy and herbal elements come through.
