The 2022er Maximin Grünhäuser Abtsberg Riesling Kabinett was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar. It has a quite reductive and smoky nose at first, yet is quick to develop a most beautiful and attractive nose of whipped almond cream, vineyard peach, Conference pear, jasmine, lavender, and thyme. The wine is packed with citrusy fruits as well as creamy elements of pear and almond. The finish is precise and pure as plenty of zesty elements give a focused side to the wine.
