Allen Meadows' Burghound
A slightly riper nose reflects aromas of white peach, citrus confit and a pretty array of floral elements. The round and fleshy but agreeably punchy medium-bodied flavors also possess a gorgeous mouthfeel thanks to the abundant dry extract that completely buffers the moderately firm citrus-tinged acid spine shaping the sneaky long finale. This isn't quite as tautly wound but it should still repay up to a decade of keeping. Also well-worth considering. - Allen Meadows, June 2024
