The 2021er Graacher Domprobst Riesling, as it is referred to on the main label (the reference to GG is left for the back label), comes from ungrafted vines in the prime Lilienpfad sector and was fermented with ambient yeasts and aged in oak for 12 months. It offers a rather earthy and subtly ripe feel on the nose at first before some elegant scents of flowers, citrusy fruits, and ginger join the party. The wine proves beautifully balanced and juicy on the palate and leaves a superbly complex feel of spices, fruits, and minerals in the persistent finish. This is a gorgeous Riesling in the making. 2026-2036. - Dez. 2022
