Auszeichnungen
Vinous
The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Village, from Les Barreaux and Les Communes, is raised in 50% new oak and due to be bottled at the end of February. The fragrant bouquet offers brambly redcurrant and cranberry fruit, light sous-bois notes percolating through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with powdery tannins. It is relatively light compared to recent vintages and quite classic in style with an open finish. Fine. - Neil Martin, Nov. 2023
Allen Meadows' Burghound
A riper and much spicier freely reveals its aromas of plum, cassis, black cherry, violet and exotic tea. The medium weight flavors possess a lovely texture if only average density while delivering fine length on the delineation on the dusty, youthfully austere and balanced finale. This could use better depth but this wine almost always ages well. Worth checking out. - Allen Meadows, Jan. 2024
