The 2022er Niersteiner Hipping Riesling Kabinett offers a superbly attractive and aromatically ripe nose of quince, William’s pear, almond cream, orange blossom, apricot, acacia, jasmine, candied grapefruit, and yellow plum. The wine combines aromatic presence and freshness on the playful and light-weighted palate. The finish is slightly herbal and still compact, so this needs a couple of years to fully deliver.
