The 2022 Échezeaux Grand Cru is deep and multidimensional, wafting from the glass with notions of dark berries, orange zest, spices, licorice and incense. Vinous
The 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru comes from vines trained higher from the ground and includes 60% whole bunches and 100% new oak. It offers intense red fruit on the nose, with touches of espresso and tobacco coming through with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. This feels fresh and composed; it is linear towards the finish with a dab of white pepper from the stems. Very fine. - Neil Martin, Nov. 2023

Allen Meadows' Burghound
Much like the Charmes, this too possesses a strikingly floral-suffused nose that offers up a mix of violet, lavender and rose petal that adds elegance to the blend of plum, cassis and black cherry aromas that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice.
