St. Antony's 2021 Riesling Hipping GG comes from the completely north-facing Käferberg plot and opens with a coolish, stony, flinty and more phenolic nose compared to the other Nierstein crus. Round and savory on the palate, this is a lush and elegant, crystalline and saline-finishing Rhine wine classic that didn't ferment fully dry. However, this is a textured, crystalline and age-worthy Riesling—the only one here that will definitely benefit from further bottle age. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure.
