The 2021er Berncasteler Doctor Riesling GG, as it is referred to on the consumer label, has an appealing and beautifully complex even if still restrained nose of laurel, fresh and minty herbs, fine spices, white peach, lozenge, and anise. The wine offers a great sense of presence on the palate with good structure and a hint of cream. There is good extract, which coupled to the zesty elements, makes for a long and fresh feel in the finish. This precise and chiseled GG is really beautiful. 2025-2036 - Dez. 2022
