Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2021 Riesling Aus den Lagen is based on de-classified grand and premier cru barrels of the domaine. Very pure, fresh and stony but, most of all, reductive on the clear and serious nose, this is a medium-bodied, elegant, refined and persistently salty Riesling with a fine phenolic structure and elegant acidity. Still far from being enjoyable, the 2021 should breathe in a carafe for a day before serving. 12.5% stated alcohol. Tasted at the domaine in November 2022. - Stephan Reinhardt, Dez. 2022
