The 2020 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru has turned out beautifully. Offering up aromas of dark berries, rose petals, peonies, rich spices and orange rind, it's medium to full-bodied, lively and perfumed, with a sensual, seamless profile and a long, saline finish. Allen Meadows' Burghound
Moderately firm reduction masks everything except the subtle spice nuances. The equally succulent but much more sophisticated middle weight flavors possess notably more refined tannins that support the lingering, complex and lightly stony finale.
