Aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, citrus zest and fresh peach, framed by a light touch of youthful reduction, introduce d'Angerville's 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Santenots, a medium to full-bodied, tightly wound wine that was quite reserved when I tasted it. I suspect that, in bottle, it will show all the plenitude that one expects from this site in a warm vintage, but it's also promisingly bright and precise. - William Kelley, Jan. 2021

Allen Meadows' Burghound
Firm reduction presently dominates the nose though I suspect that it won't last. There is again fine richness to the appealing textured and vibrant flavors that also conclude in a clean, refreshingly dry and very lemony finale. This is sufficiently forward that it could be enjoyed on the younger side, yet it should also be capable of rewarding several years of cellaring as well. - Allen Meadows, June 2021
