Auszeichnungen
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
A rich bouquet of cherries, cassis and wild berries mingled with baking chocolate and toasty new oak introduces Matrot's 2018 Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots, a medium to full-bodied, velvety wine that displays fine depth and concentration, concluding with a long and sapid finish. - William Kelley, Feb. 2020
Allen Meadows' Burghound
Here the nose is really quite pretty with its admirably pure array of red cherry, raspberry and softly earth-scented aromas that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. The understated and vibrant flavors are also quite fresh and vibrant while displaying good minerality on the palate coating, focused and much firmer finale. This will need to add depth to merit the upper end of my projected range, but it could well do that as the tannins are firm enough to ensure a decade plus of aging potential. - Allen Meadows, Apr. 2020
