The 2018 Riesling Kinheimer Rosenberg Auslese *** (Green Capsule) is intense and precise, though still yeasty, and intermixes crushed lemon and dusty rocky notes with concentrated yet very fine fruit aromas. However, the Auslese seems to be finer and cooler than the gorgeous Kabinett and Spätlese selections. Intense and tight on the palate, this is a dense, lush and sweet, very rich yet tight, crystalline and salty Rosenberg with a straight and crystalline finish that reveals great finesse and precision of this young, highly elegant and talented Rosenberg. 11.5% alcohol.
