Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The ripest, headiest wine in the cellar is the 2018 Corton Grand Cru Les Grand Lolières, a cuvée that caused Felettig some anxiety regarding its overall balance but has come together nicely with élevage. Bursting with aromas of cassis, dark chocolate, plum preserve and smoky soil tones, it's full-bodied, ripe and muscular, with rich structuring tannins. This is a bit of a stylistic outlier in the range, but it has turned out well. - William Kelley, Feb. 2020
Vinous
The maiden 2018 Corton Les Grandes Lolières Grand Cru includes no whole-bunch fruit and is matured in 100% new oak. It has an intense bouquet of black currant and red currant infused with wilted rose petals and violets. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannins and a fine bead of acidity, and the oak feels nicely enmeshed toward the fleshy, confit-like finish, which is quite hedonistic, partly due to 14.8% alcohol. - Neal Martin, Jan. 2020
Allen Meadows' Burghound
Firm reduction dominates the nose at present. Otherwise there is good ripeness and richness to the racy, intense and muscular larger-scaled flavors that possess very good volume as well as a velvety texture while despite the presence of a very firm tannic spine shaping the chewy, moderately rustic and equally built-to-age finale. Here too at least some patience will be required. - Allen Meadows, Jan. 2020
