The 2015 Riesling Scharzhofberger Kabinett #2 is very clear, deep, intense and complex on the nose, with smoky slate, iron and citrus flavors that come along highly delicate and with a subversive complexity. Vinous
This represents a variety of parcels picked over the course of the harvest. A meadow-like alliance of floral and herbal aromas is joined by intimations of fresh pear, lime and grapefruit that then lusciously, vivaciously dominate on a firm, palpably extract-rich yet succulent and buoyant palate.
