The 2015 Riesling Kinheimer Rosenberg Auslese *** (Golden Capsule) displays clear, intense and fresh aromas of ripe pineapples, lemon fruits and crushed stones, indicating gorgeous purity. Crystalline and highly finessed on the palate, this is a weightless but concentrated and piquant Auslese of great class and elegance. Its purity and digestible character is outstanding, and its tight and mineral structure gives the Rosenberg great tension, energy and tremendous aging potential; but, the wine never loses its finesse and salty purity. This is a great Auslese that comes pretty close the Egon Müller's Le Gallais Auslese from the Wiltinger Braune Kupp. - Stephan Reinhardt, Apr. 2017
