The grapes of the dark colored 2014 Pinot Noir Caroline were destemmed by hand and the wine offers a refreshing, precise, but intense and slightly leathery bouquet of dark fruits. On the palate, it is silky textured, complex and very long, revealing lovely intensity and ripeness with a refreshing tannin structure. This is a gorgeous, warm, honest and almost classic Pinot Noir that was bottled unfiltered in the last week of August 2016 after almost two years of aging. - Stephan Reinhardt, Dez. 2016
