The 2012er Saarburger Rausch Riesling Spätlese with AP 03 proves still very pale white-yellow colored and offers a beautifully elegant and refreshing nose of fresh minty herbs, laurel, yellow peach, greengage, a touch of sea breeze, and almond cream. The wine proves slightly richer on the palate where riper fruits (peach and pear) give a touch of smoothness to the experience. The finish proves however attractively driven by candied citrusy fruits and has even great focus in the focused, long, and pure finish with classic Saar cut.
