This wine is quite open for business and greets one with attractive and juicy flavors of melon, pineapple, mango and some ground spices. The presence on the palate is simply remarkable as the wine is light and yet retains a great playful side despite the intrinsic weight of the vintage. The finish is intense, multi-layered and juicy, with some more-botrytis notes of honey coming through. This grows in presence with airing yet always remains a joyful Auslese to drink.
