The 2012er Berg Schlossberg, as it is referred to on the front label, immediately captures one’s attention with its absolutely magnificent and oh-so refined nose of white flowers, fine spices, lime tree, cassis, orange blossom, gooseberry, jasmine, pear, and bergamot. The wine proves superbly airy yet at the same time intense, dense (but without weight), dynamic, and energetic. Only the mid-palate shows a light smoother and more subtle side. The finish is almost endless and has a gorgeous spicy and racy acidity. What a breathtaking and multi-layered Riesling! Now-2037 - Mai 2022
