Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne is every bit as remarkable from bottle as it was from barrel. In the glass it is vivid, multi-dimensional and wonderfully alive. At once powerfully vibrant yet also seamless, the 2010 has everything; expressive aromatics, nuanced fruit and taut, incisive minerality. I only hope to have a chance to taste it again in a few years’ time. Today, it looks like Coche’s 2010 Corton-Charlemagne is headed straight for icon status. It may very well be the wine of the vintage. If it isn’t, it is among the top 2-3. Anticipated maturity: 2020+. - Antonio Galloni, Aug. 2012

Allen Meadows' Burghound: Tasted at a dinner in Beaune. I happened to have the chance to taste this alongside the '07 and '05 versions (as well as the '07 Perrières), and as wonderful as those are, the 2010 is simply at another level. A cool and restrained, indeed almost grudging nose is composed by strikingly fresh notes of mineral reduction, citrus peel, Granny Smith and a wisp of wood. The delineation of the sleek and tautly muscular flavors is brilliant as is the outstanding depth that suffuses both the mid-palate and finish that is shaped by a tightly coiled acid spine. In my view this beautifully harmonious and Zen-like effort is the best Coche Corton-Charlie since the stunningly good 1996. - Allen Meadows, Feb. 2018

Vinous: The 2010 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru from Coche-Dury is destined to be a great wine...in about 20 years time! I can understand exactly why Jean-François Coche elected to keep this back and frankly he could have waited another decade if so desired. It does have a gorgeous, primal bouquet with brioche and orange blossom scents reluctantly emerging from the glass. I notice a touch of fieriness after 30 minutes, but it is a sign of coiled-up energy instead of intimating volatility. The palate has a sublime balance, saline in the mouth, smooth and caressing in texture with enormous length. This is already a stylish wine but my God, those fortunate to have this in your cellar need to forget about it. Tasted at Tour d’Argent restaurant in Paris. - Neal Martin, Jul. 2018
