Allen Meadows' Burghound - 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Aux Boudots, Méo-Camuzet
There is a cooler and slightly less ripe quality to the restrained aromas of red currant, raspberry, earth and spice whiffs. The rich middleweight flavors aren't quite as dense but they're finer while displaying a subtle minerality on the strikingly persistent finish where a hint of warmth also arises. Vinous - 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Aux Boudots, Méo-Camuzet
The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Boudots 1er Cru has a very attractive nose like the previous vintage: dark cherries, crushed iris flowers and a touch of crushed stone. It is very precise, and the oak is beautifully integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip, fine structure and transparency. A very nice sapid edge gets the saliva flowing, but this cuvée deserves three or four years in bottle. - Neil Martin, Nov. 2023
