Much like the Charmes, this too possesses a strikingly floral-suffused nose that offers up a mix of violet, lavender and rose petal that adds elegance to the blend of plum, cassis and black cherry aromas that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. Vinous - 2022 Echezeaux Grand Cru, Felettig

The 2022 Echézeaux Grand Cru comes from vines trained higher from the ground and includes 60% whole bunches and 100% new oak. It offers intense red fruit on the nose, with touches of espresso and tobacco coming through with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. This feels fresh and composed; it is linear towards the finish with a dab of white pepper from the stems. Very fine. - Neil Martin, Nov. 2023
