Cropped at a modest 30 hectoliters per hectare, Felettig's 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes is one of the finest wines he has produced from this site to date, unwinding in the glass with aromas of rose petals, cherries, raspberries, mint and spices. Allen Meadows' Burghound - 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Charmes, Felettig

This is one of the most floral-suffused wines in the range with its softly wooded and spicy aromas of mostly red berry scents, in particular red cherry and raspberry. The succulent and vibrant yet surprisingly powerful medium weight flavors exude evident minerality on the impressively persistent and dusty but not especially austere finale. This year, the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes 1er Cru includes 50% whole bunches. The nose is refined and composed - perhaps the most mineral-driven and complex, with fabulous delineation. The medium-bodied palate has filigree tannins, perfectly judged acidity, and silky smooth with a perfectly poised finish.
