The 2021 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Reignots offers up aromas of raspberries, spices, sweet soil tones, smoke and rose petals. This is also wonderfully floral in character if perhaps a bit more restrained with its subtle spice nuances adding to the appeal of the elegant and cool aromas of mostly black cherry and exotic tea. There is slightly more underlying tension to the cuts-like-a-knife medium weight flavors that seem to be built on a base of almost pungent minerality while exhibiting excellent length on the firmer, more austere and beautifully long finale.
