Hier paart sich die Kühle des Jahrgangs mit der kühlgelegenen Parzelle “Les Mouchettes” in Villers-la-faye. Das Ergebnis ist ein äußerst eigenständiger Pinot Noir, welcher sich klar von den Weinen der Cote de Nuits abgrenzt. Die äußerst minzig-ätherische Nase ist unterlegt von hellem Sauerkirschsaft und frischen Erdbeeren. Leicht erdige Noten von Roter Beete sorgen für ein spannendes Aromenspiel. Here the nose is moderately reduced though there is plenty of verve and freshness to the more mineral-driven flavors that are quite sleek while the more youthfully austere finish displays fine persistence.
