Friedrich Keller's 2020 Kirchberg Oberrotweil Chardonnay GG shows an intense yellow color and correspondingly intense aromatic fruit with notes of crushed limestones, ripe phenols and ripe, candied lemons. Very elegant and refined on the palate, this is a nevertheless rich and aromatic, seriously structured and sustainably salty, grippy and stimulating Chardonnay of great class, expression and style. The finish is long and fresh, still with ripe and lush fruit as well as a supple body that is uplifted by the fine yet firm mineral acidity and tension. Impressive wine. 12.5% stated alcohol.
