Am 20. Juli 2020 haben wir eine kleine Ankunftsprobe der 2018er Weine der Domaine Felettig veranstaltet. Sämtliche Weine wurden blind verkostet. Der 2018er Chambolle Musigny Vieilles Vignes zeigt in der Nase im Moment deutliche Stallaromen, die man aber keineswegs mit einer Unsauberkeit in der Weinbereitung verwechseln darf. Hinzu kommt eine süße Note überreifer Brombeeren sowie vegetale Aromen. Trotz seiner Intensität wirkt er nicht schwer, allerdings ist er im Moment etwas adstringierend, d.h. er trocknet die Zunge etwas aus, Tannine und Säure lassen die Frucht noch nicht voll zur Geltung kommen. Geben Sie diesem Wein noch zwei, drei Jahre Zeit und er wird aufblühen und Freude bereiten.

Wafting from the glass with notes of cherries, raspberries and plums mingled with raw cocoa and candied peel, the 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, with a ripe core of nicely concentrated fruit, powdery tannins and lively acids. The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes had been racked four days prior to my visit. Completely de-stemmed, it has a precise bouquet that is slightly austere at first and needs a little more cohesion.
