Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: Exhibiting aromas of cherries, raspberries, spices, rose petals and bergamot, with little hint of the tertiary complexity to come, the 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées is medium to full-bodied, lively and precise, with a deep and concentrated core of fruit that's framed by fine-grained but youthfully chalky tannins, concluding with a precise, energetic finish. - William Kelley, Feb. 2020
Allen Meadows' Burghound: Elegant and softly spiced aromas of black cherry, raspberry and spice are also trimmed in an plethora of floral nuances. The acceptably concentrated middle weight flavors possess good verve and detail though the dusty, serious and mildly warm finish that flashes plenty of minerality comes up a bit short. I suspect that this will better harmonize after a few years of bottle age. - Allen Meadows, Jan. 2020
Vinous: The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuées 1er Cru, made with 30% whole bunch and 100% new oak, comes from two parcels, one on limestone soils and the other on marn. This is one cuvée that seems a little overripe on the nose when juxtaposed again Felettig’s other cuvées. The precocious palate features blueberry and cassis fruit, although the new oak dries out the finish a little. Fingers crossed that this can support that new oak in the long term. - Neal Martin, Jan. 2020
