„Dieser Wein wurde zu 100% in neuem Holz ausgebaut, zudem verarbeiteten die Felettigs hier 25% Ganztrauben. Das ätherische-kräuterwürzige Bouquet ist beeindruckend, florale Noten, eingekochte Pflaumen, schwarzer Tee, Brombeeren. Der 2018er benötigt viel Luft, um sich voll zu entfalten. Anfangs noch etwas spröde, adstringierend. Er wird zunehmend weicher und bietet vielschichtige, balsamische Fruchtfülle. Die Säure stützt prima und verleiht Frische. The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuesselottes 1er Cru includes 25% whole-bunch fruit this year and is matured in 100% new oak. The wood comes through strongly on the nose, as you would expect, making the terroir difficult to read at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and quite peppery on the midpalate, with good density. There seems to be sufficient fruit to support the 100% new oak on the finish, but it will require several years to be fully assimilated. Three barrels produced. - Neal Martin, Jan. 2020
