Aromas and flavors of rose, steeped cherry, raspberry, graphite and spice mark this tightly wound red. Elegant and refined, it ends with a slightly chewy finish, leaving a promise for more. Excellent length. Best from 2022 through 2042. - Dez. 2020
Allen Meadows' Burghound - 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Feusselottes, Méo-Camuzet
Reduction dominates the underlying fruit today. Otherwise the beautifully vibrant and delineated light weight flavors are finer if less mineral-driven while culminating in a harmonious and attractively persistent finish. This too is exceptionally pretty though if not very concentrated yet even so it should reward mid-term keeping thanks to the fine balance. - Allen Meadows, Jan. 2019
