Auszeichnung
95 / 100

Wine Spectator: Features a surprising amount of expression packed into a light frame. This very minerally white is elegant, showing beautiful harmony throughout. Refined flavors of clementine, Bosc pear, quince and elderflower are offset by a bright structure. Intense, but not overripe, with focused acidity, plenty of slate and mineral notes, and a finish filled with hints of pepper and chamomile. Drink now through 2031. 100 cases made. - Juni 2019

92 / 100

Mosel Fine Wines: The 2017er Ayler Kupp Fass 18 GG develops a quite aromatic and ripe nose of apricot, red apple, smoke, aniseed herbs, rosemary and pear, all wrapped into a whiff of volatile acidity. The w ine is superbly playful on the palate and shows both superb intensity and great freshness. The finish is focused, fully dry in taste, smoky and even lightly saline. The after-taste is all about spices, lime and grapef ruit peel. This is a splendid fruit-driven and aromatic yet focused expression of dry Riesling in the making. 2022-2032 - Okt. 2018

90 / 100

Vinous: Struck flint, wet stone, ripe pear, kumquat and anise mark the nose. The palate is full and glycerol-rich, displaying more sheer juiciness than that of its Feils (aka “Fass 13”) stablemate. Tang and prickle of peach fuzz add invigoration to a finish of admirable clarity and ample refreshment. This is a bit less striking than the Feils – which isn’t surprising given the distinctiveness of that site – but is still considerably complex, as well as more fun to drink. - David Schildknecht, Okt. 2019
