A highly complex, ripe and very fresh nose mixes a variety of red berries, underbrush and earth, all of which is again trimmed in enough wood to notice. The equally muscular, textured, powerful and impressively precise large-scaled flavors display first-rate length on the balanced and palate coating finish. This isn't quite as concentrated as the Pruliers but there's just more depth though once again, the prominent tannic spine is going to need extended aging to soften. - Allen Meadows, Jan. 2018
