Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: Haag's auctioned 2014 Juffer Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese (Versteigerung) – AP #1515 – displays a very clear and fine bouquet with bright and fresh fruit aromas, along with a nice slate purity and some dashes of lemon juice. Intense and mouth-filling this is a round and piquant, light, clear, fresh and frisky, lovely salty and elegant Spätlese of remarkable finesse and complexity. Great Riesling! - Stephan Reinhardt, März 2016

Vinous: This auctioned Spätlese leads with musky, sweaty notes, just as does the A.P. #11, though its author cautioned that this is only in part a function of botrytis and represents some fermentative stink that will dissipate with time. A more ennobled, honeyed aspect of botrytis is evidenced on a subtly creamy yet insistently bright palate, where ripe white peach is laced with fresh lemon and invigoratingly nippy pepper cress. This is almost airy in its lightness, and its wafting finish delivers refreshing juiciness with a lick of stone and considerably more purity and focus than the A.P. #11. Even someone familiar with the phenomenon will have trouble comprehending how 80-some grams of residual sugar can be as well hidden as they are here. - David Schildknecht, Okt. 2016
